Sales Manager (Gambling Sector)

This role is responsible for the customer relationship and revenue delivered from the customer and the related strategy to exceed budget expectations. You will be the commercial lead for Scout in the Gambling industry and a key commercial figure within the business. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel.

Main Responsibilities of the Position

  • Qualify and prioritize prospects, target roles and establish relationships.
  • Make prospecting an integral part of your regular routine ensuring new prospects are being added to the sales funnel on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify needs, pain points and prepare core value propositions.
  • Be part of contract negotiations.
  • Handle objections, negotiate and close deals.
  • Formulate specific business plans to meet revenue goals.
  • Ensure timely and accurate forecasting and management reporting.
  • Planning and implementation of a targeted sales campaign in key markets.
  • Taking part in the improvement and development of the sales process.
  • Being well informed about Gambling industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the Gambling industry in the assigned area/region.
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings and trade shows.



  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing Sales or relevant advanced professional certification in your field



  • Have a proven track record of successfully selling complex SaaS solutions into the Gambling sector
  • Have the ability to extract and formalize client’s needs and to structure comprehensive value proposition.
  • Have an understanding of complex sales cycles and dealing with top decision makers.
  • Preferably have experience of Extensive presentation and proposal (RFP, RFI or RFQ).
  • Demonstrate good understanding of the Gambling business.
  • Have the ability to form solid and productive business relationships, the confidence to be pro-active both internally and externally, and the ability to guide client discussions toward specific business objectives.
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to demonstrate Scout to customers and respond effectively to customer’s questions.
  • Fluent in English, in verbal as well as in written.
  • Ability to travel.
